The 3rd has been working hard on designing and painting two large ocean themed murals to decorate the hallways of HCA. Not only did this project inspire creativity, but it also allowed for the children to work cooperatively and exchange ideas on how to complete the finished product.
Community Time
"Actions, not Words" The 3rd Grade truly lived out our Holy Child motto this week. During Community Time, the class worked together to make chocolate pretzels and wrote short notes that were delivered to the Garretford Fire Station. Students showed how much they appreciate the service and heroism of these brave men and women.
It was great seeing so many parents at today's Parent Visitation! I hope you enjoyed "walking in your child's footsteps" for a few hours today.
Lots of fun was had playing the Grammar review Kahoot! game, congratulations to Wild Willow! Mr. Lewis was our big winner at the S-P-A-R-K-L-E spelling game! The entire class, including parents, successfully complete the Math "I Have, Who Has..." game, too!
