Ash Wednesday Prayer Service

The 3rd Grade led a beautiful Ash Wednesday prayer service last week. Ash Wednesday begins the Lenten season for Christians, a time of penance, fasting, and contemplation.

Thank you to Deacon Daniel DeLuca for helping with the service. The children practiced for many days to perfect their public speaking skills and singing talents. We were so happy to see so many parents and friends at the service.

Students are Teachers, Too!

Sometimes it takes a fellow classmate to teach a difficult concept. Legend helped her friends learn a quick and easy trick to compare fractions, it is called the Butterfly Method.

Science is Fun!!

Wow!, Ooohhh!, Awesome!.... these are some of the words that were heard during Mr. Zwilling's Liquid Nitrogen presentation last week. The class was amazed at what liquid nitrogen can do. This very COLD liquid can shrink inflated balloons, freeze flower petals and spices, and make a hard boiled egg fall into the top of a Gatorade bottle. Ask you child which experiment was his/her favorite.
