Week of February 1 - 5, 2021

 "You Gotta Have Heart"

We continued our study of the circulatory system this week.  Using multimedia and a model of the heart, students practiced labeling the parts of the heart.

"Would You Rather?"
Third Graders wrote Opinion Essays based on "Would you Rather?" questions.  Using a graphic organizer, each student brainstormed reasons for his/her choice.  Then, these ideas were put into a five sentence paragraph.  After editing grammar and mechanics, students wrote their good copies.  They enjoyed sharing their persuasive essays with their classmates.
