 Multiplication & Division Fun

The Unstoppables math group illustrated multiplication problems using the Arrays strategy.  

The Bolts math group illustrated division problems using the equal groups strategy.  

All Religions Presentations

Several speakers came to Holy Child to speak about the importance of their religions in their lives.  Students learned about the Judaism, Islam, Albanian Orthodox, Presbyterian, Methodism, and Episcopalian faiths.   

Last week's Character Counts winner was Tatum.  She exhibited the qualities of caring, responsibility, and honesty.  Tatum choose the "Pillow Pal" award and enjoyed sitting with her comfy pillow all day.  

Congratulations, Tatum!

This week's winner was CJ.  He is a good classroom leader and looks out for his fellow classmates.  CJ choose the "Lunch with a Teacher" award.  

All Families Month at HCA

During December we celebrate All Families Month at HCA. This gives us an opportunity to celebrate all family structures and point out the common thread of love through classroom activities/exercises as well as school wide focuses. 

For one of our future community times this month, we plan to have students introduce their own families to the kids in their HCA school family. Can you please either email me a picture or send in a picture of your family for your child to use for this activity by Dec. 9th?
