Digging up Bones
The Lower School has begun their study of Dinosaurs. Our hallway has been transformed and the students are excited to learn all about dinosaurs. Third Grade began their study of fossils this week. Former high school science teacher and friend of Miss Hoffman's, Mrs. Maxwell, visited the class and gave a presentation on fossils. The students got a chance to examine fossils up close. Thank you, Mrs. Maxwell.
Mardi Gras Fun
Students had fun learning about and celebrating Mardi Gras. They enjoyed listening to Zydeco music, learning about Mardi Gras traditions, making masks and crowns, and sampling a slice of yummy King's Cake
