Library Time
One of our favorite times of the week is visiting the library. Third Graders love all the new books Mrs. Clay has on the shelves. It's a great time to just relax and get lost in a book.
This week's "Character Counts" students are Zora and Juliana. They exhibited the qualities of respect, perseverance, and honesty. Zora choose the "Bring a Fuzzy Friend" award.
Juliana chose "Take Two" and was able to take two items off her seat work & homework list. Congratulations, Girls!
Kamishibai Storytelling
After reading about the Japanese storytelling method of Kamishibai, Keith created his own Kamishibai story and shared it with the class. His classmates enjoyed seeing his creative artwork and hearing his captivating storytelling.
Fractions Fun
The Silverfish math group is learning about fractions. It's always fun to be the teacher. Here is the group sharing their own improper fractions with their classmates.
