Blessing of the Pets
Last Monday we celebrated the annual Blessing of the Pets on the Feast of Saint Francis. The HCA community gathered to bless their pets, big and small.

Animal Adaptations
Our first Science Unit this year is about Animal Adaptations and Classifications. Students participated in an experiment about the adaptation of birds' beaks using various everyday items. Here are the scientists hard at work!
Students are learning how to document in STEAM class this week. They worked in pairs on the Pixie computer program.

This week's Character Counts winner is George. He exemplified the character traits of Citizenship, Respect, and Responsibility. He choose the award of "Bare Footin." George wore his socks in the classroom.
