The Beat Goes On
Music class is always fun with Ms. Brown!  Last week,  the class worked on various rhythm drills and differentiating note values.  One of the drills included using tennis balls to keep the various rhythm patterns to the accompaniment of marches by John Philip Sousa.

W.A.R. Presentation

Every year, an educator from Women Against Rape comes to HCA to work with Grades K - 8th.   Ms. Jester met with our class for two sessions.  She discussed "Ways to Be Assertive" and "How to handle Peer Pressure."  The second session was about Safe Touch.
